Privacy Policy
Ecomstat Agents is a messaging app for businesses that work with Ecomstat. It lets you and your team chat with AI agents and with each other. It is operated by Ecomstat Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("Ecomstat", "we", "us"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and, if set, your display name. Your email is how you sign in; we send you one-time sign-in codes or links.
- Messages and files: the messages, images, documents, videos and voice notes you send, and the replies you receive, so they can be delivered and shown in your chat history.
- Push notification tokens: if you turn on notifications, a token from Apple (APNs), Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) or your browser so we can alert you to new messages.
- Security and session data: the IP address, device type and browser/app version of each signed-in session, and a log of sign-ins, so you can see your signed-in devices and we can protect your account.
We do not use advertising, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or share your data for marketing. The app contains no third-party analytics or ad SDKs.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To deliver messages between you, your team and your AI agents, and to keep your chat history.
- To generate AI replies: the messages in a conversation with an AI agent are sent to the AI model that powers that agent so it can answer.
- To send notifications you have turned on.
- To provide optional features you use, such as reading a message aloud or transcribing a voice note.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of service providers, only to run the features above:
- AI model providers: to generate agent replies from the conversation you send them.
- ElevenLabs: text-to-speech and speech-to-text, only when you use read-aloud or voice notes.
- Brevo: to email your sign-in codes and links.
- Apple and Google: to deliver push notifications.
Messages, files and account data are stored on servers operated by Ecomstat, hosted by Kamatera in London, United Kingdom. Files are private and only served to people who are part of the conversation.
Your organisation
Accounts are provided to members of businesses that work with Ecomstat. Administrators of your workspace can manage who has access and may see conversations in groups they belong to.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and chat history while your account is active. Uploaded videos are deleted after 30 days. Expired sign-in codes and sessions are purged automatically. When an account is deleted, its conversations, the messages and files it sent (including those in shared team groups), its sessions and its push tokens are deleted with it. A team group it created stays open for the other members. When you report a message, we keep the report and a copy of the reported message until our team has reviewed it.
Reporting and blocking
You can report any message, including an AI reply, from the ⋯ menu under it. Reports go to our support team, who review them within 24 hours and remove content or accounts that break our rules. You can also block a person from the same menu: you stop seeing their messages and getting notifications from them, and they can no longer message you directly. Manage blocked people in Settings.
Your rights and deleting your account
You can ask for your account and its data to be deleted at any time from inside the app: open Settings → Support, choose Close my account and send. We complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm by email; it cannot be undone. To delete your data but keep your account, choose Support → Delete my data and we will complete it within 30 days. If your account is a workspace administrator's, or the option is not available to you, email info@ecomstat.io from the address you sign in with and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.
You can also ask us to see, correct or export your data at any time by emailing the same address. If you are in the UK or EU you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
Children
Ecomstat Agents is a business app and is not intended for children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
